Our Charcuterie boards are made from Maple or Black Walnut wood. We offer different sizes and shapes for your needs. All Charcuterie boards are sealed with a food safe oil mineral.

  • Hand wash both sides of the charcuterie board evenly with a warm damp cloth. Never submerge your your cutting board in water or place in a dishwasher because water causes cutting boards to warp and crack. Avoid using dish detergent as this strips the oil. Wipe the cutting board dry with a clean cloth and stand the board up on edge so that both the top and underside are fully exposed to allow air flow to fully dry.
     

    Oil your board with a generous layer of food-grade oil. (We recommend butcher block oil or mineral oil) to both sides, top, bottom, and any groove. Apply additonal oil to visibly dry spots. We recommend this as early as the first week after you recieve the charcuterie board. This important step helps repel food particles and liquids. It also helps reduce the staining, cracking, and warping.

    An option step we encourage would be to allow the oil enough time to soak into the grain, please apply a food-grade wax such as a butcher block wax. If you prefer a natural alternative, beeswax-based products are safe options and smell fantastic! Once you've covered the whole piece of wood, you have created a barrier to help the wood retain moisture. You now know what to do: leave it sitting on its side overnight. 

    Please be sure to store your charcuterie board in a clean dry area away from extreme hot or cold temperatures.
